Non enhanced is the system that can monitor the purging system of the vehicle, but it does not have the capacity to check for leaks . Enhanced system is the one that can check for the integrity of the system by applying pressure or vacuum and monitor the amount of time the system remains pressurized the two most common types is with vent system and the one with the leak detection pump. I recently worked on an Audi 2006 that one has a LDP.

Thank You Benjamin, and yes you are correct the Enhance system only check for leaks using a FTP sensor. The Non Enhance checks for flow.
